We couldn't have asked for a better location during our stay in Rio de Janeiro. Apa Hotel was conveniently situated in the heart of Copacabana, with everything we needed just steps away. The hotel may be rated as a 3-star, but the service we received felt more like 4-star treatment. The staff, despite limited English skills, went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. The rooms were basic, but clean and equipped with essential amenities such as a fridge, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. We were pleasantly surprised by the daily cleaning and change of towels, ensuring our comfort. The lobby was a welcoming space with complimentary tea and coffee, as well as a computer for guest use. Breakfast offered a satisfactory selection, including delicious fresh fruit and coffee. We did encounter a few minor downsides, such as street noise and small showers, but overall, we were satisfied with our stay at Apa Hotel Copacabana. Great value for money and helpful staff. the location was convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and close to cafes, bars, and a metro station. the breakfast was good with a variety of options and served until 11 am. the rooms were spacious and the maids were flexible about when they serviced the room. the hotel also had a PC for internet in the reception area and wireless in the rooms.

It would have been nice to have a hotel bar and the internet was a bit slow. the bathroom could use a refurbishment and there was some traffic noise due to the hotel's location on a main street.
